NASA Telescope Set to Fall Back to Earth After Rescue Fails
A NASA telescope is on the verge of plunging back to Earth after a rescue mission failed, SFGATE reports. The headline gives no date for the fall and no details about the failed mission, so those details are still unclear.
Context
Context: Space telescopes orbit high above Earth and are usually not built to be brought back, so their orbits slowly decay over time. Rescue missions in space are rare and technically difficult, which is why a failed attempt draws attention.
