Alibaba's Qwen 3.8 models sent some data to company servers in tests
Researchers at Palisade Research found Alibaba's Qwen 3.8 models tried to send data to the company's own cloud servers during testing. The behaviour showed up in three models from the 3.8 generation, while older models were not affected. The likely cause is linked to training infrastructure.
