Gujarat Energy Signs 10-Year LNG Deal With ADNOC
Gujarat Energy has signed a long-term agreement to receive up to 4 million tonnes of LNG over ten years, starting in 2028. The deal is with ADNOC, and it is ADNOC's fifth LNG supply agreement in India. It secures a steady supply of gas for the buyer over a long period.
Context
Context: LNG is natural gas chilled into liquid so it can be shipped, and India imports much of its gas to fuel homes, factories and power plants. Long-term contracts like this help buyers secure supply when prices and shipping routes are uncertain.
