Zelenskiy to Make State Visit to Britain Next Year
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy is scheduled for a state visit to Britain next year, according to a report. The exact dates are still being decided by officials in both countries. The visit is likely not to coincide with the Group of 20 summit.
Context
Context: Britain and Ukraine have been close partners since Russia's full-scale invasion in 2022, with London a major supporter of Kyiv. A state visit is a formal, high-level trip, and the G20 is a forum of major economies, which is why its timing matters.
