Elephant Calf With Bone Disorder Flown to Vantara
An 18-month-old elephant calf with a genetic bone disorder is being moved from Kerala to Gujarat's Vantara for specialised treatment. The calf cannot stand or walk, so it was lifted into a special animal ambulance with a crane. It is being taken by chartered flight from Kochi to Jamnagar with veterinary staff.
