Japan Investment Corp to Sell Chip Materials Firm JSR
Japan Investment Corp reportedly plans to sell JSR, its semiconductor materials subsidiary, to Mitsui Chemicals. The deal is said to be worth more than 1.3 trillion yen and could be finalised within this month. JSR makes photoresists, light-sensitive materials used in chip manufacturing, and JIC bought it two years ago.
