Erumely-Sabarimala Trek Route Readied for Pilgrims
Officials said work on the Erumely-Sabarimala trek route would be completed over the next few days. Stretches from Erumely to Kalaketti and from Azhuthakadavu to Pampa are being cleared. The route is being prepared ahead of a rush of pilgrims.

Context: Sabarimala is a well-known hill temple in Kerala's Western Ghats, and Erumely is one of the traditional walking routes pilgrims use to reach it. The temple's main pilgrim season begins in November, which is why paths are being cleared now.
