KSRTC Adds Special Buses From Airports to Pampa
Kerala's state transport corporation, KSRTC, will run special bus services to Pampa from airports. The service is for pilgrims travelling during the 2026-27 Mandala-Makaravilakku festival season. The move is meant to make travel to Sabarimala easier for devotees. The announcement came on Friday, 6 November.

Context: Sabarimala is a famous hill temple in Kerala, and the Mandala-Makaravilakku season, running roughly from November to January, draws large crowds of pilgrims. Pampa is the base point for the trek up the hill, so bus links there matter a lot.
