Air India, IndiGo extend Saudi flight suspensions
Air India and IndiGo have extended their flight suspensions to and from Riyadh, Dammam and Jeddah. Akasa has also suspended flights to these Saudi cities.
ContextRiyadh, Dammam and Jeddah are major cities in Saudi Arabia, and Indian airlines serve them for workers and pilgrims. Airlines often suspend routes when regional tensions or safety concerns make flying risky, and they restart service when conditions improve.
