Fire destroys over 150 shops at Goa's Vasco market
A fire at Vasco Market in Goa destroyed more than 150 shops. Officials said firefighters brought the blaze under control after more than four hours of work. Many small traders have likely lost their stock and their income, and the cause is not yet reported in this news.
ContextContext: Vasco da Gama is one of Goa's largest towns and a busy commercial hub. Markets packed with small shops can spread fire quickly, so fire safety and quick firefighting matter a lot in such places.
