UP to Match Voter Lists With Local Body Rolls to Find Missing Voters
Uttar Pradesh's chief election office has sent guidelines to every district election officer. They have been told to match the state's Assembly voter lists against Panchayat and urban local body rolls. The state's election office says the step aims to find voters who may be missing from the lists. Officers have been asked to carry out the matching thoroughly.
