Google's AI Spots High Blood Pressure From a Smartwatch
Google Research built an AI that spots signs of high blood pressure using only the pulse and motion sensors in a regular smartwatch, with no cuff needed. In a study of 196 people, it detected the condition 65.8 percent of the time, beating the traditional in-office measurement.
