Sugar Output Rises to 12.85 Lakh Tonnes This Season
Sugar production in the current season has reached 12.85 lakh tonnes. Last year, the figure on the same date was 3.20 lakh tonnes. The industry body ISMA says 184 mills have begun operations. That is a sharp increase over the same point last year.
