Travel Rules for Nepal and Bhutan Visits Are Amended
The Centre has amended an order that deals with exemptions under immigration rules. It affects Indians who travel to or return from Nepal or Bhutan.
Context
Nepal and Bhutan share open or largely unrestricted borders with India, so Indians often travel there without a visa. Rules on these movements change from time to time, so checking the latest notice before a trip helps.
