Delhi-NCR Gets Stage-II Pollution Curbs Before Diwali
Stage-II of the Graded Response Action Plan, or GRAP, has been put into force across Delhi-NCR ahead of Diwali. It sets out which activities are allowed and which are banned as pollution levels rise. The rules show what residents, businesses and vehicles can and cannot do while the curbs stay in place.

Context: GRAP is a tiered set of pollution rules that tightens as Delhi's air gets worse, with each stage adding stricter limits. Diwali firecrackers and winter smog usually push the city's air into the worst bands each year.
