Sahara Rock From Mars Is Over 4 Billion Years Old
A rose-coloured rock found in the Sahara in 2022 has been shown to be one of the oldest known meteorites from Mars. A NASA-funded study describes its age as over 4 billion years. The findings add to scientists' understanding of the Red Planet's early history.
