Cyclone Murasu Brings Very Heavy Rain to Andhra Coast
Cyclone Murasu crossed the coast near Ongole in Andhra Pradesh early on Tuesday. Heavy rain is still hitting Bapatla, and the state disaster authority has warned of very heavy rain in Polavaram, Kakinada, NTR, Krishna, Bapatla and Palnadu. Flash flood alerts have been issued while the storm is yet to weaken.
