SC Freezes Mumbai Civic Chief's Salary
The Supreme Court has directed BMC and the Maharashtra government not to release the Mumbai civic commissioner's monthly salary or his personal staff's salaries. The order stays until its orders are followed. The court also imposed a Rs 5 lakh fine on BMC.
