Block's Dessa speech model runs on a laptop, but isn't out to try yet

Block's AI lab has released Dessa, a full-duplex speech-to-speech model trained only on human conversation audio. It reportedly runs locally on a high-end MacBook Pro M4 Max. Block has not published its size, benchmarks or model weights, so ordinary users cannot download or test it yet.
